Friday, August 29, 2008 3 more months to 3 yrs old ! Happy 33rd monthsary to my dear !  --------------------------------------------- i wanna get a new trainer.... the 2 pairs that i'm currently wearing had been with me for ages. and for long distance i prefer my adidas climax cos its lighter weight but i think it's going to die soon. haha.  adidas?   or nike?  i kindda like the nike zoom victory +, plus if i get the nike plus sportsband i could put the sensor straight in my shoes rather then get another holder... hmmm.... but i like adidas cause of its light weight...... guess i should go out and do some shoe research tmr.... {4:13:00 pm}

Tuesday, August 26, 2008 Singapore Bay Run 2008 ! 6.45am on the train with dear...    its damn bloody crowded ! and we have to cross the muddy grass patch to get 100plus and banana and collect our goodie bag. arggh... the shoe that i'm wearing is Adidas climax therefore a lot of mud went into my shoes.... which i had to endure for like 6 hours before i reach home ! (because i didn't bring any slippers with me). anyway, 35.43 for 6km ! there's freaking lots of family and little kids that join the 6km and they are practically strolling la. we have to run like a snake to get through the crowd.... i swear i will never join "fun run" again. haha.  at the starting point with ql... see, they even brought such young baby !  after the run, we walked to clarke quay to collect our nike human race goodie bag. its bloody long queue i tell you, worst then the hello kitty craze i think... luckily we saw janice queueing and she let us join the queue ! which actually was her friend that start queueing from 9.15am !(collection starts at 10am) imagine it took us 1.5hr when we alr cut queue ! ( and my poor dear have to wait for us for 1.5hr too)  my nike race tee ! look at the number ! very nice number right, it actually nearly match my i/c number ! haha. can't wait till sunday ! hope it doesn't rain =x {12:59:00 pm}

Thursday, August 21, 2008 well, these few days were quite fulfilling ones. i finally get my butt off my house and pack some activities into my days. haha. tuesday was first to RDI to submit some stuff before meeting zhimin for some shopping and eating ! can't stop eating with zhimin ard ! haha.   wednesday was gym session with qilin before she went for tuition for my sis. and evening was my turn off to work. today was fabric sourcing at textile center and arab street, and i'm happy that i found really gorgeous fabric that i like ! hee. afterwhich i went to esplanade library to borrow dvds and cds. am currently listening to John Adam's (btw, he's a contemporary classical music composer). tmr 10am is semi final between Li Jia Wei and Zhang Yining ! i'm so going to wake up early to watch ! it's a pity i'm going to miss the finals and the bronze match due to work... ): but there's always reruns... {11:50:00 am}

Monday, August 18, 2008 some random thoughts seriously, i don't know what to write. my life had become very very very (x100 times) mundane. day in day out for 4 months in a row was, sleep, eat, watch tv, watch youtube, reading, running, fetching sis from school, sometimes go out with friends, sometimes go out with dear. i don't know if i can adapt back to normal (hectic) life again. sigh. although life was mundane these few months, there's plenty of changes and decisions made. well, i had totally gave up hope in lasalle and decided to switch to raffles design institute for my Bachelor. its not a very rough decision, but quite a last minute one. cos i've been skeptical whether to continue in lasalle until i've seen the Fashion Show of the BAs and some unpleasant incident with the lecturer, before i came with the decision. i don't wanna just spend another year doing a fashion show, get a degree and learn nothing much. Going to RDI means needing to brush up a lot on my technical skills, but i'm sure i will learn a lot in the technical aspect. and all these meaning there's a price to be paid too. on top of my 1 year bachelor course (which will commence officially in January 2009), i've gotta take a 3 months bridging course which includes a 5 outfits mini collection fashion show by end of dec. stressful i know, but if i'm not going to push myself now, i will be very hard for me when i'm out. the total course fee here is a 33K, lasalle's 17K. huge decision made eh. haha. i'm gonna spend 3 years paying off my debts after i graduate. so in the meanwhile now, i'm doing research and preparations for my collection. on a lighter note, yesterday was a happy day because i collected my singapore bay run's tee and number tag. yesterday was a happy day because i bought two 5 bucks bods.bodynits sports bra at a warehouse sale. yesterday was a happy day because i went out with dear and i bought 3 FBT shorts for running (cheap!) and we ate very nice japanese food. today was a happy day because i went to nike training run in the morning and completed 8km in 52 mins. today was a happy because... hmm... our table tennis got silver medal ! btw, speaking about table tennis and olympics, i remembered how crazy i was 4 years ago about it, glueing to the tv all day and not studying for prelims. haha. and i was crazy about the whole susilo-ljw thingy, so silly man. haha. great that they break in the end, fairy tales are not suppose to last, haha. oh, and i saw zhang yining on tv today (duh), she is still as shuai as 4 years ago, haha. the way she plays table tennis is simply so awwwww... well, i think i should stop, or else i could keep blabbering for ages, haaha. gd night ! {1:09:00 am}

Friday, August 08, 2008 eugenio recuenco ! sigh. such great works. such great art. i love eugenio recuenco ! he's such a genius, i felt looking at his photography is like looking at a painting, like its trying to tell you something. and its beautifully beautifully shot. some of his shot have a touch of Renaissance and Baroque painting feel, which is totally awesome. sigh. how i hope all fashion shoots could turn out this way instate of pointless, meaningless, superficial shoots.               {12:59:00 am}

Tuesday, August 05, 2008 shooooooooooes ! Was greeted by this at my doorstep in the late afternoon.  I didn't expect it to arrive so early ! its barely a week since i placed the orders ! well, gojane's shoes are really comfy, sizing accurate and best of all, worth the price ! its a pity i didn't get more orders, or else it would be cheaper ! so anyway, this is my pair of wellington boots.  and corrine's 5.5 inches heels are super gorgeous ! there's another pair of oxford flats that corrine's sister bought but the size is too big for her, which i loved which i could wear, and i'm going to buy it from her. {11:33:00 pm}
